(12 April,2025) with Eco-Friendly Traditions in Rangamati.
On the exulting occasion of Ful Bizu, Youth for Green Innovation took a worthwhile step toward a plastic-free future in Rangamati Hill District. As part of the ongoing "Say No to Plastic" campaign, volunteers distributed banana leaves as eco-friendly alternatives to plastic plates during traditional flower offerings at Kerani Pahar, Rangamati Sadar, Rangamati.
On April 5th to 7th, 2025, Youth For Green Innovation embarked on a transformative three-day awareness campaign across Rangamati and Shijok, Baghaichari, inspiring communities to embrace a plastic-free Bizu Festival. The initiative highlighted the environmental impact of single-use plastics, particularly during the Ful Bizu celebrations, while promoting sustainable alternatives like banana leaves and natural materials to honor both tradition and nature.
Our goal is straightforward yet profound: by conducting research, educating people, and working together, we hope to encourage communities to live in harmony with nature and effect meaningful change. Come along with us as we work to protect the environment and leave a sustainable legacy for future generations.
